RESPIRATORY THERAPIST Per diem

Location: Long Branch, NJ
Description:
Assesses patients pulmonary status, develops plan of care in collaboration with the physician and nurses and delivers respiratory care to patients.
Experience preferred.
Requirements:
Education/Training/Certification/Licensure:
AA/AS degree. Eligible for licensure as Respiratory Therapist. Certification and/or Registration by NBRC required
Certifications in Intubation, PALS, NRP, ACLS to be obtained within the first twelve months of employment.
Special Equipment/Skills
Ventilators, including but not limited to: Bird 8400, Bennett 7200, Bear Cub, Bear 33 Transport Vent, Servo 300, Sufrasonics Adult/Pedi, Infant Star, MA1, Bunnell Jet Vent, Sensor Medics Oscillator, Healthdyne Infant Transport Vent, Water Column CPAP, Cardin Valve CPAP, Bipap S&D, Spag Ribovirzn Unit/set up and drug administration, Corning 178 Bloodgas Machine, I STAT Blood Analyzer, Corning Co-oximeter, Continuous Nebulization of Brochodialators.
