Description:
The successful candidate will o bserve screen of cardiac monitor and listen for alarms to identify abnormal variation in heart rhythm. Inform Supervisor or RN, of variances to initiate examination of patient. M onitor heart rhythm pattern of patients in special care unit of hospital to detect abnormal pattern variances, using telemetry equipment. Will also be required to p repare and educates patients on telemetry transmitter, telemetry monitoring and electrocardiograms.
Requirements:
High school graduate or equivalent. Minimum one year experience in Telemetry and/or successful completion of a cardiac dysrhythmia course and BLS for Healthcare Provider certification required.
