Description:

Provides evaluative and inpatient mental health services to the patients/family of the inpatient unit. Maintains close contacts with community providers serving the patients. Prepares and maintains records and reports regarding patient treatment and progress as required by regulatory standards and organizational policy. Participates as an integral part of the Milieu to provide a safe and secure treatment environment. Participates in the unit PI/QA programs and hospital quality improvement efforts. Is responsible for reporting identified safety issues such as hazardous environments (i.e. damaged floors/walls/ceiling tiles/unsecured areas) and medical errors, etc.

Requirements:

Master’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology or related field. 3 years experience/training working with adults in a mental health setting. Experience/training in individual, group and family therapy. Knowledge of behavioral therapy concepts.
