Description:
Professional care giver who is responsible for assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of patients for a designated time frame. Provides nursing care as directed by medical staff and in accordance with the objectives, policies and procedures of the hospital and the State Nurse Practice Act. Maintains the standards of nursing care as established. Participates in unit Quality Improvement evaluation activities. Uses an understanding of the principles of growth and development to assess each patient’s age specific needs and provide age specific care.
Requirements:
Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
Current New Jersey RN licensure required.
Maintains required BLS certification.
Minimum 1-2 years Operating Room experience (scrub/circulating) required
