Description:
Demonstrates knowledge of body mechanics and patient safety in transporting patients from bed to stretcher, and assisting in transferring from stretcher to OR table.
Always demonstrates an awareness and understanding of patient’s needs for comfort and safety; follows through accurately to provide patients with comfort and safety.
Regularly assists in maintaining a healthy, clean and safe environment for the patients and staff.
Takes OR schedule for printing and distributes to various departments throughout the institution.
Always reports to the Nurse Manager or RN any changes in status, patient complaints, or other pertinent information regarding the condition of patient.
Requirements:
Graduate of an accredited high school
