Description:
The Echocardiogram Technician performs technical procedures such as Adult, Peds, Fetal Echos with the use of an Echocardiogram machine, to obtain ultrasound images to aid in diagnoses of cardiac disease. The Technician also performs advance testing such as Stress Echocardiograms and assists the cardiologists in Trans-Esophageal Echocardiograms, Also performs services as needed such as Stress Testing, EKG, 24 hour holter monitoring placement and scanning.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Certificate from an approved school for diagnostic ultrasound.
One year previous cardiac ultrasound in a hospital setting preferred. Stress echo and T.E.E. experience preferred.
